I heard about Jessica's story boxes for a friend and I absolutely had to get one
From the first moment I knew that Jessica was going to do an amazing job. She was communicative from the very start, and she and I were able to come together to come up with a one of a kind design. We were able to meld together elements that I already knew I wanted such as the focal point and the color scheme, and she was able to bring new ideas and that fully encompassed everything I was hoping that the story box to portray. It is not just a an art piece depicting a moment from our wedding, but she found a way to incorporate our engagement, our favorite hobbies, the place we met, and our pets. It sounds like a lot, but its doable, and she made it as seamless as possible.
Throughout the experience, I heard from Jessica every step of the way. Jessica was even able to give me a timeline of how long each step of the process would take so I knew exactly what was going on the whole time. She gave me outline sketches, showed me the paper colors, showed my what the pieces would look like combined, and the final product. Every step of the way she gave me the option to change things, or give my thoughts, which made it so that every part was perfect. I even got told when it was getting mailed out and a tracking number, so I knew exactly when to expect my story box in the mail. It gave me extreme peace of mind to know that this first anniversary gift would be thoughtfully taken care of even when my mind wasn't on it.
I will absolutely get another story box commission in the future. This is going to be an amazing addition to my home and I know that my husband is going to adore all the little details Jessica was able to add in. Thank you Jessica for all of your hard work, and for making such a wonderful piece of art for us to cherish long into the future.
I loved working with Jessica on our shadow box! It turned out far better than I imagined. We commissioned a box for my husband and I's 10th anniversary. From the beginning of the process to the end, Jessica listened thoughtfully to each of our stories and made a piece that was so intentionally representative of all the beautiful memories that my husband and I have shared. I can tell that Jessica put in SO much time into making sure each piece of paper visually communicated everything that we both intended for it to communicate. When we got the final draft back for our shadow box, we both teared up. It's really hard to capture 10 years of memories, but Jessica found a way!
Aside from her brilliant creativity, Jessica was incredibly empathetic and kind throughout the process. We actually experienced a loss during the design process and Jessica was so so kind. We even ended up finding a way to honor the loss in our shadow box. This meant the world to me.
I can't recommend Jessica and her services enough. She's simply amazing and we are beyond delighted with our shadow box!
I loved working with Jessica on both of my custom story boxes. Yes, you heard that right, this is the second box that I’ve purchased from her… (and possibly not the last!) 😊 For each of the story boxes, I had many ideas for our story boxes for my husband and myself, and Jessica went above and beyond to bring them to life! She asked all the right questions and was extremely transparent about each step of the process, including timelines and expectations of the digital sketch vs the physical product. There weren’t many revisions needed because she nailed it. My husband was speechless when he saw the physical story box, recognizing each layer as a milestone in our lives – from the day we met to when we got married. It sits happily in our room, where we've put all our memory trinkets from our adventures together <33 Additionally, when the product finally arrived, shipping was fast, and it arrived super snug in its box with a lot of packaging, as perfect as it would have been when first shipped.
I also do my art on the side, but I look up to Jessica and feel like I’ve made a friend in this process 😊 I can’t wait to see what she has in store next and future story boxes! Thus, I highly recommend Jessica and her flawless, creative, and most perfect artwork! 😊

I appreciated how flexible she was when I asked for revisions (though honestly, not many were needed as her first drafts were nearly perfect) and took feedback incredibly well. I came out of the process feeling like we both got to know each other a bit better, as it felt like we had more of a dialogue instead of merely a transaction. My husband had a blast looking at the physical storybox and recognizing each layer as milestones in our lives, including little Easter eggs of how we met! It now sits happily in our memory cabinet, where we've put trinkets from our current adventures together.

My fiance and I absolutely loved working with Jessica on our storybox. We enjoyed the process because Jessica was so organized, transparent, and was meticulous in capturing all of our important details. We loved how she walked us through the process of each layer and we were able to give feedback and adjust anything we needed. We are happy that she was able to capture our memories in such a unique way!
